This song is about reaching by way of affected singing. My promise was to sing affected on this and as creaky and unpolished as it lays until I can shape the voice naturally into where it's supposed to be.
I regrasped this idea from watching this person in a practice space pretty much scat and project herself until it would fit. Just like they do in jazz and how most rock bands play and the singer blah blahs until words happen. This song is kept the way it is because I like the idea that it isn't cast in a role yet.
